Cathie lives in England and has one daughter whom she adopted at the age of 5 weeks and three days. She also has one beautiful grandchild who is the cause of her scrapping addiction. He is 2 years old and the apple of her eye.

She belongs to a group called SPICE which stands for Special Programme of Incentive, Challenge and Excitement. The members are mainly single’s who have come out of long term relationships (Cathie was with her now ex husband for 32 years having met him at the age of 18) and need to get out doing things but don’t want to do them alone. Since she joined Spice Cathie has been on many adventures, ranging from meals out to weekends away and some adrenaline rush stuff like fire walking and abseiling. You can see some of these events showcased in her gallery.

For a living Cathie works in Local Government and is responsible for making sure that the General Public are consulted on how public money is spent as well as being a Quality Assurance Auditor. She loves her job, which is good since it funds her passion to travel.

It has to be said that Cathie spends a lot of her spare time scrapping which she often combines with her love of watching movies, listening to books and music. Multi tasking to the hilt. In addition Cathie loves to travel the world and since joining DSP she has been to several DSP laptop crops where she has met many her DSP friends who she now considers as her family.

Cathie loves to socialize, she loves to dance, go to the theatre, participate in any type of craft – she will have a go at anything. Her favourite junk food is food. Her favourite foods are food. Cathie's favourite place to go on holiday is America to shop and Antigua to party and go to the beach. Her favourite thing to do on the weekends is party and her favourite colours are aqua blues and violet.
