Christmas Traditions
Many of us have different traditions at christmas time. When I was
growing up, one of the traditions we had was decorating christmas
cookies. My mother would have all of the cookies baked ahead of
time in many different shapes and sizes. Then on christmas eve,
we would sit at the kitchen table with all kinds of frostings and
sprinkles and decorate the cookies. We each made a special one for
Santa and the rest for ourselves. After this, we got to eat our
favorite one and then go into the living room and choose one gift
to open that night. I know many different traditions are carried
out in many different homes throught the world.

You can quote me on that!
I heard the bells, on Christmas Day,
Their old, familiar carols play,
And wild and sweet
The words repeat
Of peace on earth, good will to men.
~Henry Wadsworth Longfellow "Christmas Bells~
Blessed is the season which engages the whole world in a conspiracy
of love.
~Hamilton Wright Mabi~
"I wish we could put up some of the Christmas
spirit in jars and open a jar of it every month."
~Harlan Miller~
